Rusko is back! After self-releasing his Kapow EP last year, British dubstep artist Rusko has become the latest artist to sign to Skrillex’s OWSLA label. To celebrate his signing with OWSLA he premiered his first single “Takeoff”, a full-throttle drum-and-bass track with amped-up demands for more noise from Jay-Z and wonky flares of synth. The track is a jungle-infused, Jay-Z-sampling drum & bass tune and a massive departure from tunes like “Jahova” and “Cockney Thug,” two of the dubstep anthems that helped pioneer Rusko to the top. This is the first peek from Rusko’s forthcoming Lift Me Up EP which is set to release in July and boy are we impressed! Stream “Takeoff” below.
