On August 30th and 31st, 2013, SummersEND Festival will mark the end of a truly epic festival season here in Calgary, Alberta,Canada.  Calgary is a city whose electronic music scene has grown by leaps and bounds in the last decade and is now hosting big scale festivals featuring world class talent.  From inaugurating the first annualBadlands Music Festival (Pretty Lights, Steve Aoki, Afrojack and more) a music festival that coincided with the Calgary Stampede, to being the first stop on the travelling Mad Decent Block Party, and just recently having thrown Chasing Summer Music Festival (featuring Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Krewella, and many more).

The local scene is embracing the festival atmosphere and will cap off the 2013 season with a bang! This year’s SummersEND Festival stacks the line-up with two nights of huge international talent like Calvin Harris, Sebastian Ingrosso, Datsik, Borgore, Bloody Beetroots, Chuckie, Otto Knows and Pegboard Nerds. Not to mention, there will be live performances from Dirtyphonics and the newly formed heavy metal dubstep alien rock band of the century, DESTROID (Excision, Downlink, and former Pendulum drummer, KJ Sawka).  An amazing cast of local artists will also be there! The Calgary BMO Centre will be rocked with a staggering 200,000 watt crystal clear PK Sound system and production. Don’t forget to bring your earplugs!

After the parties are over, there will be TWO official SummersEND afterparties on Sunday, September 1st, with one show in Edmonton, AB featuring Brillz at The Public House and another in Calgary at Vinyl & Hyde with Sandro Silva!  Here’s your one last chance to get that festival feeling in you before summer’s over!  Visit the SummersEND Festival site for more line-up and ticket information.  Tickets are moving fast so get them before it’s too late.
