AM_JLCAlex Metric & Jacques Lu Cont featuring Malin’s ‘Safe With You’ was first unveiled in May via a world exclusive of the dub mix from Annie Mac on Radio 1. A recent No.1 on the Cool Cuts chart‘Safe With You’ can now be enjoyed in all its vocal glory. With Malin’s (Niki & The Dove) distinctive tones sitting atop one of the finest main room electro pop tracks in years, this carries all the hallmarks of becoming one of 2013’s biggest records.

Alex Metric kicked off his summer festival season with gigs at Isle Of Wight Festival, Glastonbury and Rockness, then hit the States for his third US DJ tour of 2013, where he played alongside ‘Safe With You’ co-producer Jacques Lu Cont (aka Stuart Price) atElectric Daisy Carnival in VegasHis Safe With You summer tour continues across Europe and America, ending on 1 September at Electric Zoo in New York. His famed residency at London’s XOYO on 14th June was another roadblock, with guest appearances from Alan Braxe and Du TonicHis remix of Foals’ ‘Bad Habit’ hit No.1 on Hype Machine.

Jacques Lu Cont’s recent Tracques Vol 1 album (released under his Tracques moniker) received the kind of acclaim you’d expect for one of electronic music’s most celebrated and consistent talents. No matter the pseudonym, Price sets the musical agenda for each genre he touches. With cuts like ‘Motor’, released on Boys Noize Records earlier in the year, and‘Safe With You’, 2013 looks set to be a vintage year for the LA-residing super producer.

Malin is the lead singer of Swedish indietronica outfit, Niki & The Dove, who first broke in the UK via their inclusion in the BBC’s Sound Of 2012 poll (No.5). Since the release of their debut album, ‘Instinct’Niki & The Dove have won the 2013 European Border Breakers Award.
