Last night the EDM community took a big hit as Paul Baumer, 1/2 of the group Bingo Players lost his six month fight with Cancer. Fellow member, Maarten Hoogstraten the news late last night over Facebook in an open letter.

Dear All,

I am deeply saddened to tell you that Paul passed away last night after his battle with cancer. He fought strongly until the end.

We want to thank you for all your support over the last few months.

Needless to say, all upcoming shows for the rest of the year have been cancelled as we’re going through this loss with family and friends. We’ll post a longer update shortly with more information as well.

Paul, we miss you.

Paul you are a deeply respected and extremely talented musician. Such an all around good guy. Thank you so much for letting us have the opportunity to hear your artwork. Your music will live on forever through all of your beloved family, friends and fans. What I think is most important is that he passed away doing what he loved. Life is short and always remember your blessings. Rest in paradise brother.
