This Thursday (January 30^th) Sound Nightclub, located in Hollywood, CA (1642 Las Palmas Ave.), is hosting an event with the foretelling name, “Night Bass.” The event is presented by, music producer, AC Slater (Aaron Clevenger), Dim Mak Records, and Party Like Us Records.  Sound Nightclub opened in 2013, started by Muse Lifestyle Group, making it a fairly new venue to the Hollywood scene.  As their website states, “Sound’s philosophy centers around music, food, fashion, art, and community,” which is ideal for the genre of music that is going to be heard at this upcoming event.  The club is unique in its creative interior, ability to have an intimate feel, culinary specialties that change quarterly, and most importantly the intricate sound that is centralized in this particular club.  A collection of Deep House/ Disco/ Tech House/ Dance DJs have occupied Sound that has turned the club into its own distinction in comparison with many other popular clubs that surround the heart of Hollywood.

Serving as Los Angeles’ best new underground event, Night Bass brings the sound that’s bubbling out of the bass bins from dark clubs and warehouses the world over direct to local audiences. Expect to hear cutting-edge house, garage, bassline, and boundary-pushing music. Together with Dim Mak, Party Like Us, and AC Slater, Night Bass brings the most unique party to Los Angeles.

For the opening event, Night Bass welcomes original Dirtybird player Christian Martin, who brings his tech-house flavor to the dance floor, along with Party Like Us label head AC Slater himself, who adds his unique spin on house and bass music. Main Course co-founder Astronomar joins the night with additional support from LA bass head Petey Clicks and SF tastemaker Sleazemore.
