Chris Lake returns to Lure Hollywood Thursday February 20th | Nom De Strip just added

ChrisLakeChris Lake makes his return to the Los Angeles nightlife scene Thursday (February 20th) for Luresday at Lure Hollywood, California. The Scottish producer and DJ now calls Los Angeles home when he is not touring the globe. Since his early bootlegs of The Prodigy, Leftfield and The Eurythmics during the mid-2000’s, Lake has demonstrated a deft touch first remixing tracks and then crafting exciting original electro house music productions. Since then, Lake’s profile has rocketed with standout electro tracks such as, “Ohh Shhh,” “Sundown,” and “Build Up,” that have topped the Billboard Dance charts, a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and guest mix, and remix duties for the likes of Lady Gaga and Duck Sauce.

In 2013, his collaboration with Steve Aoki and Tujamo entitled, “Boneless” had crowds jumping worldwide from Ibiza to Miami to Brazil. Its music video is a tongue-in-cheek ode to Southern California skate culture. This year, Lake’s latest single, “Helium,” features vocalist Jareth and continues his success crafting powerful vocal tracks that maintain an infectious groove and provide a robust kick for the clubs.

Chris Lake is both signed to the Ultra Records imprint and is chief of his own label, Rising Music, which has signed rising stars TJR and Nom de Strip. Throughout his career, Lake has been steadfast in maintaining creative freedom, as demonstrated by his foray back into deeper house sounds – Lake includes Sasha and Danny Howells in his list of Top 5 All Time DJs.

(Update): Nom De Strip just added to the event.
