Tonight: Plastic Plates at The Wilshire in Santa Monica

10287244_10100880724977186_116257270_nThe Los Angeles Music Project is excited to announce Plastic Plates headlining the second installment of their quarterly music series at the Wilshire in Santa Monica. Coming off of an incredible inaugural event featuring the dominant Body High co-founder Jerome LOL, LAMP looks to continue this format throughout the rest of 2014.
Alongside Plastic Plates the main room will feature Brooks and Millar, who are primed to share a plethora of bass charged, ear smacking originals leading up to the much anticipated release of their first LP. Also joining them will be SF native LA based Templeton who is chalked full of new remixes and edits to share on the dance floor.
New to LAMP’s format is the Wilshire’s front room, which will feature some of LA’s up and coming DJ talent. This installment features artists Wilks, SNBRN and Modus from degrade.LA a music streaming, blog hybrid that seeks to expunge outdated music genres, and rather “aims to classify music by the feelings or ‘vibes’ that they evoke.”

Friday May 2nd at the Wilshire

Featuring: degradeLA artists (wilks x snbrn x modus)
