Young & Sick, is what happens when a man from the Netherlands make their way to Los Angeles, California. The band to watch brings back familiar tunes from the early 90s and injects new age rhythm; R&B with a sweet mix of downtempo electronic soul. The Holland native that started it all is Nick Van Hofwegen who is an accomplished 27 year-old that designed cover art for Foster The People, Robin Thicke, Mikky Ekko, plus the branding of BUKU Music + Art festival in New Orleans. As his project began to grow larger so did his need to express the interconnection between visual art and music. The combination makes the experience of listening to Young & Sick mesmerizing.The self-titled album “Young & Sick” is on Harvest Records and the band will be making their appearance in Los Angeles on July 2, 2014 at, The Echo.
