The second installment of the Pacific Festival: The Dunes in Newport Beach, Calif. Drew a beautiful crowd to the bayside resort on Saturday, making this the most exciting Pacific Festival: The Dunes to date. With music lovers dancing all day to the sounds of renowned international artists, the evening culminated with concert goers dancing into the sunset to headliner Holy Ghost!.

Sound, sun, and swimming in the cool ocean blues – guests joined together with toes in the sand and drinks in hand for a once in a lifetime seaside experience. Not your average day at the beach, this outdoor music festival allowed attendees to sip cocktails freely throughout the venue – a rare commodity amongst this breed of entertainment, where restrictive beer gardens are highly implemented.

The day was complete with three stages of live and disc jockeyed music leveling out a multi genre experience. On the main stage live performances included: Poolside, Miami Horror, De Lux, Painted Palms, Cherry Glazerr, Avid Dancer, and closing out the night – Holy Ghost!. At the opposing Rhonda Stage, curated by Los Angeles’ very own, A Club Called Rhonda, fans grooved out to Moon Boots, Bag Raiders, Plastic Plates, Sam Sparro, Yolanda Be Cool, Nancy Whang, Goddollars, and Paradise. And lastly, VIP’s enjoyed local DJ’s such as Bones, Overjoy, Cassette, Heidi, Cooper Saver, Graff, and Kedd Cook.

Picturesque beachfront views created a visual allure of seaside serenity, enticing guests as the sun set over the bay. Food trucks provided whimsical local fare all day.

Once Pacific Festival: The Dunes came to a close, the party transitioned to The Observatory where legendary producer, Gorgio Moroder brought the entire house down to tunes of late-1970’s disco to modern pop. Moroder left the dance floor moving and grooving behind the illuminated Rhonda sign on stage for Late Night Rhondavous.

A day to remember, Pacific Festival: The Dunes would not be possible without generous support from sponsors: Red Bull Sound Select, KCRW, AQUAHydrate, Hyatt Regency, and Newport Beach. Pacific Festival in turn donated $1 from every ticket sold to Surfrider Foundation, in an effort to preserve and continue their beachside experience for years to come.
