It’s a representation of my feelings during the last twelve months that I’ve been making music, they’ve been some of the best and worst days of my life. This year changed the way I approach and view existence as a whole – it’s been bittersweet. I’ve had to find beauty within the darkness.“
Heartbreak’s intro to OWSLA was his official remix of Skrillex‘s “Make It Bun Dem“, leading to his debut EP The Foundationand his 2-track release “War Of The Roses” / “Rebel (Latchkey Anthem)” featuring dancehall artist Leftside. His sound has been influenced by everything from hip-hop to soul to traditionally urban electronic genres such as Baltimore club, acid house and Detroit techno.
