DJ and music producer extraordinaire TOKiMONSTA, who has reworked “Superstar” in her signature style, adding eerie electronic elements that enhance the song’s theme of holding tight to your values during changing times.

This remix comes by way of the “In-Ride Sessions” series, Kia’s new collaboration with Complex, wherein we’ve played matchmaker with different genre-defying artists, sending them to the lab to create something brand new from what at first might seem familiar.

Tokimonsta will be at the Observatory in Orange County next Friday December 5th and she’s bringing along a couple of her friends, Djemba Djemba and Doja Cat. Djemba Djemba recently collaborated with RL Grime on “Valhalla” off of his debut album VOID and they just released an official video for it(stream it below).
