IHEARTCOMIX presents AUSTIN PARTY WEEKEND at SXSW March 18th to 21st

Celebrating it’s 4th year in existence at SXSW, from March 18th through the 21st, IHEARTCOMIX will partner with Biz 3, Embrace, He^rd and Jukely to present it’s annual Austin Party Weekend. For four days, APW brings 15 labels (Mad Decent, OWSLA, Stones Throw, Neon Gold, Dim Mak, IHEARTCOMIX, PC Music, Monstercat, IAMSOUND/Fiction, Biz 3, Fool’s Gold, Check Yo Ponytail, Ham On Everything, Secret Songs, Nina Las Vegas Presents) together under one banner to create an event that is bigger than any one of them. Sponsored by Skee TV, PHHHOTO and Fradio, who will be streaming a radio show live from the event, APW will allow anyone to RSVP to one place and have access to every one of the 15 participating showcases held between 2 venues; Empire Control Room & Garage and The Main (former Emo’s). Fradio will also be broadcasting a radio show live from their booth at APW via their app, with continuous music programming and artists stopping by. Listeners from across the country will be able to tune in for Fradios take on APW, and even have the chance to call in and talk to some of their favorite artists through the app.

APW is an evolution of events IHC has done at SXSW since 2006 along with partners Mad Decent (Carniville, Salvation Army Party) and Fool’s Gold (Past Yo Bedtime, a party in an abandoned Mall). In 2012 APW began at Emo’s East and Beauty Ballroom on the east side of Austin, where it was an unofficial event for 2 years. Last year in 2014, APW moved to downtown Austin at Empire Control Room & Garage and partnered with Heard, Embrace and Biz 3 to become an official SXSW event. 2015 re-teams that partnership and adds on Jukely to expand to 2 venues.
