The end of a heavy hitting era. Yesterday morning, Bromance Records announced via Facebook that they will no longer continue. The cause as to why is to remain private, as wished by the Bromance family. Bromance Records was created by Brodinski and Manu Barron back in 2011. Throughout time, Bromance has been releasing heavy bass tracks followed by a dark and eerie nature that is very appealing. Many elite’s were part of this dark family, such as Brodinski, Gessafelstein, Louissahhh, and many more. Following up with their unfortunate announcement, Bromance has released an hour mix onto Soundcloud. I wish I could’ve got to writing this article earlier, but I was at work. During my shift I listened to the mix and it’s entirety. Let me tell you this, that mix was nothing but pure greatness. It truly reflected on the sound of Bromance. The mix was composed of tracks produced by the label’s artists. Although their sound may seem dark at times, the Bromance family has collaborated with many artists out of their style. For example, Brodinski’s “Brava” album has Atlanta rappers such as; ILoveMakonnen, SD, Young Scooter, Peewee Longway, and many more rapping on Brodinski’s wavy beats. Also Kanye West’s hit record “Black Skinhead” was produced by Bromance Records heavy hitter Gessafelstein. Their music and influence in many genres has been palpable. Their absence will be deeply missed. Cheer’s to Bromance Records, thank you all for an amazing 5 years.
