Higgo – ’95 EP
Release: ’95 EP
Release date: June 21st 2019
Label: Rare Supply

UK Garage producer Higgo steps up to deliver the powerful ’95’ EP on Rare Supply.

Featuring 3 instant garage classics laced with glimmering chords and pads (’95’, ‘Meet Me In The Middle’ and ‘Work’), this debut EP from Higgo showcases exactly what he’s about.

This is an essential release for those partying in the sun, and you can expect to hear any of these 3 anthems dropped in sets around the world this summer and beyond.

I personally absolutely love Higgo’s choice of vocal sampling in all of his releases. Always so fun and playful!
Very excited to follow this incredible producer on his journey.

manolo EP

One of the most profound artists on the rise in 2019 has to be manolo. His debut EP self titled “manolo EP” came out on Understated Records on June 21st. The 2 track EP show cases his talent as a music producer giving us menacing drops with that old school house vibe. This EP is definitely the one to be bumping at the pool this summer.

The first track, ‘Rhonda,’ is about one of his favorite parties in LA that kept his love for house music alive. In April 2018 manolo had the chance to see Karizma play at Rhonda. At the peak hour, when the dance floor was in sync, manolo felt the sudden urge to create something. and immediately left the club, went home, and produced what ended up being ‘Rhonda.’ Understated fell in love with the other track ‘Let me tell you’ and almost immediately signed it.

Manolo has been on a tear this year with more already in the works. Having played the art car at EDC, manolo also just played the Arntre party RESET & at Sound Night Club for House Heads. With more music on the way, keep your eyes on this exciting DJ & producer.

Albzzy Selects 003: Corrupt (UK) – Real Mob EP

Corrupt (UK) – Real Mob EP
Release: Real Mob EP
Release date: June 21st 2019
Label: Nightbass

Returning to the infamous Nightbass imprint, Corrupt (UK) delivers a high-octane 4 track EP titled ‘Real Mob’.

Containing 2 exclusive originals alongside the VIP of ‘Shook’, which was originally released on his ‘It’s Not OK’ EP, Barnsley based producer Corrupt expertly shows off his versatility within bassline and garage.

Kicking off the release is the title track ‘Real Mob’, which is littered with shuffling drums, warm synth plucks and a classic garage bass sound for that nostalgic feel.

A personal favourite from this release is the collaboration with Natz, titled ‘They Can’t Do It’. Following up from their previous track ‘It’s Not Okay’, this track takes it a little deeper with a more bassline orientated sound.

A truly heavyweight EP from a rising star.
