Manolo – never never (in rotation)

Summer time & the livin’s easy. Los Angeles based DJ & Producer Manolo is back at it with a brand new EP out today. The ‘Never Never’ EP is out today on In/rotation Records, a branch off of Insomniac music.

This is not his first EP release with In/rotation. Back in 2019 he released the ‘Unidos’ EP alongside BOT which they then released another EP together on Box of Cats called ‘My Face.’

The feature track “Never Never” has a fat bassline complimented by deep keys & vocals giving it a chill yet thumping vibe to it. The next track “Show Me,” is faster & heavier than the feature track but still projects that deep vibe to it with the vocals & keys. It has some deep techno drive to it. The vocals used on the EP are super melodic and soothing giving it a nice balance of deep and thumping. A perfect tool for any playlist whether you’re a DJ or just a big fan of good music.

SiLVA – Follow Me | Break Time (Understated)

SiLVA-Follow-Me-Understated-Recordings

Our girl SiLVA just dropped her first EP out on Understated Recordings. This 2 track release features some deep dark house vibes entices the mind. With deep grooves and an enticing melody, she hits us hard with big kick with a funky bassline to get you moving. ‘Break Time’ is the heavier track of the two, ‘Follow Me’ being the deeper of the 2 tracks. SiLVA absolutely crushes it with this EP and we look forward to seeing what comes next for the host of Future Factory on Dash Radio’s Discover & also the host of Dim Mak’s Evolution Radio on IheartRadio.

[“A smooth and sexy bassline is always a nice groove to mix into. (For ‘Follow Me’), I wanted a sound that was sleek, with a bouncy swing”. –SiLVA.

“We’re proud to welcome dance music’s triple threat – producer, DJ and radio host (of Dim Mak Studios on iHeartRadio’s Evolution Radio and also Future Factory on Dash Radio) – SiLVA, to the Understated Recordings family this Friday. After getting to know her over the past couple months. it’s clear to us that she’s someone that’s done her time in the scene (and has a vast knowledge of it), but is also someone that’s open to fresh, new sounds and the notion of a constantly evolving electronic music culture – and those are exactly the types of artists we look for at Understated”. – Understated Recordings ]
