DJ Shadow releases surprise Holiday single

DJ_Shadow_2-1280x720
About a year ago, DJ Shadow launched his Liquid Amber Imprint with an EP of the same name, and since then, we haven’t heard any new solo material from him.  However, that is about to change. He’s been hitting it hard in the studio for several months, and has decided in keeping with the Christmas spirit to gift us with “Swerve.”  This battle weapon bumps hard, and will certainly spice up your holiday celebration.
DJ Shadow has been working on his new material that’s in all shapes and forms and this track is just one small piece of the larger and more diverse project that will be his LP next year.

Let’s Get Tropical.

On this week’s feature, We dive deep into the depths of the dankest dope available to bring you that heavy saturation of Tropical/Global Bass You love to hear.

To kick things off, DJ Prez One brings out the big guns on his latest, a 100 BPM tropical rager, guaranteed to hype out your party.  Phatty sub bass, Dembows, AND COWBELLS.

AND STRAIGHT TO MELBOURNE.  Matt Watkins just threw a whole can of Melbourne Bounce music at your face.  What you gonna do?  BOUNCE.  There is no other option, because this remix goes in too hard not to move to.

And wait…Moombahton/Baile Funk crossovers?  WAT.  They’re so well done, and so tough to not move to.  Zee Reach has definitely been on the Moombahton game for a minnit, and his latest offering shows all that hard work paying off.  Side note…We’re stoked to see him producing Baile Funk.

Few Producers in this world can hold a candle to the way David Heartbreak makes Dub.  Like…Very few.  Take a listen and find out for yourself why this man is a the cutting edge of all things underground.  In this case especially, Future Reggae Dub (with a light step on it).

Got time for one more..?

With songs like this dropping, how could you not?

For the grand finale, we bring you an absolute bomber beat from the man himself, DJ Shadow on a team up with Salva that goes in Hard.  So hard we can’t even classify it.  Whatever it is, it’s future, tropical, and ready to make your ass drop to the floor at any given moment throughout.  It’s crazy progressive, and would make even the “DAMN, SON!” guy say “DAMN, SON, WHERE’D YA FIND THIS?!”
