Rezz – Witching Hour

Canadian electronic music producer Rezz has been hard at work on her new album “Certain Kind of Magic” which is set to release August 3rd on Mau5trap. This is her second full length album after her debut in 2017 titled Mass Manipulation. Due to popular demand, Rezz has released her first single off the album titled “Witching Hour.” The track captures her ever-evolving and idiosynratic electro sound. “I’ve been wanting to release ‘Witching Hour’ for a while,” says Rezz regarding her new single for Deadmau5′ label Mau5trap. “A perfect way to introduce the theme of “Certain Kind of Magic.”

Known for her menacing soundscapes, you can expect her second album to be forward thinking and unique. In addition to her solo tracks, she features new producers 1788-L, Deathpact, Kotek 13 and Fytch adding to her productions.

Jesse Slayter – I Killed Jesse EP

Out on DEVOiD Records, the debut album from Jesse Slayter. Recently featured on Arntre Radio, Jesse follows up with a nice infusion of EDM and rock n roll creating a whirlwind experience of sounds. Jesse Slayter collaborated with several talented artists including G-Buck, Rae Okino & Fleshcassette.

The album titled, “I Killed Jesse,” encompasses different styles of house music ranging from house to future bass to funk to experimental to a 80’s style sort of pop synth and even drum n bass. Jesse Slayter shows his versatility as an artist in this release. It has high energy festival tracks type tracks and mellow tracks to just sit down and chill to. Jesse Slayter celebrates his love for rock n roll in some of the sounds chosen for this album.

Whipped Cream – FTP

Released this morning, Whipped Cream drops another original production. Premiered on Nest HQ, FTP is an experimental bass track that breaks all the rules and takes a lot of risk, but it works. She has developed a unique sound for her style and has really come into her own, a pioneer of sorts. Give this track a listen if you are looking for something fresh and new to ad to your playlist.
