Sparkee – Technically Impossible EP

East Coast Canadian DJ, producer & guitarist dropped his debut EP with Westwood Records. The EP entitled Technically Impossible is 4 tracks of electro funk. Did I mention that he plays the guitar? Yep the guitar shreads are his, bringing a unique flavor not only to his productions, but as well as his live sets.

Sparkee collaborates with PINEO & LOEB on the track Feel It. The absolute favorite had to be Play that music. Sparkee is breaking boundaries and tearing down genres combining live instruments with DJ and productions. It will be exciting to see what comes up next for him.

If you have never heard of DEFUNK, today is a great day to discover a new artist. Today, Canadian artist DEFUNK dropped his brand new single “Pretty Things,” off of his upcoming EP coming out on Westwood Recordings. It is sexy, dark & funky all at the same time. The track is a nice collaboration of electro-funk & glitch hop that goes together perfectly with each other. DEFUNK uses Groovy verses and build ups lead into heavy bass filled glitch drops. Jesse Slayter – I Killed Jesse EP

Out on DEVOiD Records, the debut album from Jesse Slayter. Recently featured on Arntre Radio, Jesse follows up with a nice infusion of EDM and rock n roll creating a whirlwind experience of sounds. Jesse Slayter collaborated with several talented artists including G-Buck, Rae Okino & Fleshcassette.

The album titled, “I Killed Jesse,” encompasses different styles of house music ranging from house to future bass to funk to experimental to a 80’s style sort of pop synth and even drum n bass. Jesse Slayter shows his versatility as an artist in this release. It has high energy festival tracks type tracks and mellow tracks to just sit down and chill to. Jesse Slayter celebrates his love for rock n roll in some of the sounds chosen for this album.
