Canadian dj/producer duo known for their funky party music style & snowy dj sets dropped their latest single “Hood Rat” today on Double Black Records. It is a funky house track that is an absolute banger. With a funky drum line, combined with a deep rising bass, it will be sure to give you the feels. Whether you’re a music lover or a dj looking for the next heater to put in the crate, it would be a shame to pass on this gem from SkiiTour.

Out today, Big Gigantic’s Bright Futures Remix Album is out now available for streaming & download. There are many big names & solid tracks on the album, but my absolute favorite was The Funk Hunters remix to ‘Got the Love (feat. Jennifer Hartswick.’ They created a perfect mid tempo remix to an already terrific track. Featuring the beautiful vocals from Jennifer Hartswick, this track is the perfect mix of funky electronic. They are currently on their Summer tour & gearing up for a Fall Tour as so look for them in a city near you.
“So happy to share our official remix for Big Gigantic today!! ‘Got the Love’ was our favourite song from Brighter Future so it was an honour to flip this one into a funky midtempo banger which has been destroying dance floors at festivals all summer long!!”

Hot on the back of their Platinum selling single ‘Sugar Man’, Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP return with a new bomb.
Everyone knows the history. We could tell you that their breakout single ‘We No Speak Americano’ went to #1 in 15 countries around the world. Ramble on about how that song came to define a generation of good time party people, soundtracking their lives and putting it on Youtube. Tell you that the video has literally been watched hundreds of millions of times. But that was 4 years ago right? What about now?
Well… We could go on to talk about their re coming together. 4 years later in a return to form called ‘Sugar Man’. A single that went platinum here in Australia. A single that shows the genre these guys created (even we don’t know what to call it), is still done better by no one. But you’re still sitting there asking ‘what about now’.
Well here it is: ‘Soul Makossa (Money)’. In their trademark style, it’s catchy, with more energy than a case of Redbulls and more quirk than most outfits at Burning Man. It’s the result of two Bondi boys and their friend from Melbourne sitting down in the studio and having fun. There’s no gimmicks here, no fantasyful marketing tactics and definately no false promises. Just three mates that have the extraordinary talent of creating music that people love!
Still asking ‘what now’?
You’re asking the wrong questions…
