The Star Wars EP

The wait is finally over. Its been a little over a year since we first laid eyes on the new Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens trailer and we have been patiently waiting for this day to come. Tonight, many people will become the first to see the next chapter in the iconic saga.

Inspired by the movie, id like to share with you the new Star Wars ep produced by Long Beach based DJ/producer Mr. Carter. The EP features 3 dance tracks with some familiar Star Wars tunes. Originally produced by John Williams. Carter through down so really good vibes in this new EP.

The album features a tech house twist on the Star Wars cantina band on Tatooine. Gives you the feel like if that bar was around today, this would be the kind of music played on it. Also featured is an electro house twist on the Imperial March. The 3rd track takes the epic song from the light saber dual in Episode I and gives it a heavy electro vibe on it. All 3 of these tracks are definitely worth checking out and they are available for download FREE on Mr. Carter’s Soundcloud page.

So if you need some Star Wars music to get pumped up before you go see the new movie, then this is worth checking out.

French electronic duo Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” was named album of the year and its romantically frisky hit single “Get Lucky” with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers won for record of the year Sunday to cap the 56th Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy voters singling out the twosome for four awards over the course of a long but visually and musically dazzling ceremony.

Two-time Grammy winner Paul Williams, the veteran songwriter who was one of the collaborators on the album, delivered the acceptance speech for theatrically silent musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, saying, “Back when I was drinking and using, I used to imagine things that weren’t there … and then I got sober and two robots called me and asked me to make an album.”

Williams also said the duo expressed their pleasure at the onstage marriage of 33 couples, including several same-sex partners, to the music of hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ gay-rights anthem “Same Love.” “All that love is fantastic,” he said on their behalf.
