Kokoro launched last year coming out with straight fire! This year Kokoro is back at it with their latest “Demons” EP. Production of this EP was done by Dan Farber so you better be prepared for top notch tunes! If you love experimental Trap and female vocals, you’ll dig the EP!
Happppy Thursday y’all and welcome back to our 10th edition of Trap n’ BASS!!!Dee W. must have been on one this past week when he was grabbing this beats, sh*t gets aggressive mane. Lots of trapstyle in this energy-progressive edition. However, he’s (Dee) got some chill tunes to drop on y’all as well, gotta keep up that mix you know?! Anywho, I’m done yammering and enjoy this weeks selects! P.s. grab the free ones and support these amazing artists and the work they put in! -Roane
Victory is a menacing track with mellow, ominous overtones that sound like something you would hear after a 300 like battle. What most sticks out to me about this tune is the horn work towards the tracks end, absolutely wonderful! Just listening to this tune will have you feeling victorious.
Elysian Records’ producer Moonbeat dropped some sickness on us this week with this Lullaby tune. Ambient/Chill trap with an upbeat tempo makes for a great recipe as the tune seems to be chaotic, melodic, and soothing all at the same time for a magnificent track. Not to mention the piano usage, which is the cherry on top of this trap sundae
Drbblz x Tovr
Take me higher rmx
Drbblz and Tovr put their spin on We Bang’s “Take me Higher” and it is simply sublime. The vocals are well complimented by some nifty 808 work, and the pre drop vocal isolation makes me lose my mind in awe. Chopping those vocals with a sick accompanying drum kit worked very well and makes for an overall great listen.
LA trap god $yrup strikes gold again with Arcto, adding it to his growing list of tracks in my “favorite” category. The creativity of this tune is off the charts as I find myself hearing sounds I’ve yet to witness on a trap record. Arcto is fast paced, progressive in sound and is a very necessary tool for you to #keepitturnt!
What’s up y’all and welcome back to another high-energized edition of Trap n’ BASS, presented by our main man, D..D…D…DEE W.! ! ! Ok, so where do I even begin on this one; I mean, it’s just banger after banger after BANGER. The story line behind this audibly emotional journey, we’re gonna go in hard then take back a little and enjoy the atmosphere….“And Thennnn”….well mmmmmm yeah, it’s just all up hill from here. I just have to end this little tidbit with #wussup is absolute money. Till next time friends and fam, keep hungry. -Roane
Mucho is hype ass hell tune with the perfect island influence. The progression of Mucho is amazing, as it’s pretty much 2 different sounding tracks on each side of the drop and both hold equal levels in sickness.
Anxiety is more of a journey than a song, and also sounds more like and orchestra than a production. No sound wasted in the creation of this tune and no emotion was unrepresented. One of the more complete songs I’ve heard in a whole and a very impressive display of talent by Dekku.
Ricky Remedy keeps it 100 with us on his release and we are certainly thankful for his efforts on this festival trap gem. 100 delivers at every turn with a buildup that will have your heart racing right up until the head bobbing drop. Crazy track
Milkdrop x ICHI
Milkdrop and ICHI team for #wassup for some St. Petersburg trap and it is absolutely out of this world. High tempo, excellent transitions with a dance vibe working well with the sounds of the trap. Awesome piece of work as tracks like these continue to represent the trap culture over in mother Russia
