More Than Just Good Taco: Step One Slept On?

good taco
Step One
got slept on.

Until you hear his latest offering “Good Taco“, you can’t even begin to understand what you’re missing.
Good Taco easily one of if not *the* best Zouk Bass release of last month.

So why is it such a mystery, you might ask?  It definitely ain’t your Momma’s Kizomba, or your Daddio’s Tarraxo.  The Good Taco is cutting edge Zouknology.

This succulent piece of bass & laser is dripping with Zouk Bass aesthetic, and sure to slay a stereo as soon as you pump it.

I’m not pointing fingers, or anything, but why haven’t you heard Step One – Good Taco yet?!  Get busy, and let us know what you think in the comments, here or on Soundcloud, that big orange monster.

Let’s Get Tropical: #TRAPICAL

Lets get Tropical Image post copy

I Just Scoured Soundcloud’s Barnacly Underbelly To Bring You This Week’s Most Tropical Trap Available.  Read On, & Find Out What It Is To Sound #TRAPICAL.

Just because it’s got a resort on it…Doesn’t mean there’s not a bumpin’ underground music scene.  This week on Let’s Get Tropical, we blow the lid right off that resort, and get #TRAPICAL.  Some good, hard tropical beats to get you through the week, right here, from the gentlest to the dirtiest, all in one go.  Week after week, I’m just gonna keep on dropping names, styles, and labels you’ve never heard of…but should have!  I’m extra happy with this week’s finds.  Even the tropical Country/Western Trap (WTF).

Let’s Get Tropical: Start Smooth, And Finish Strong.

LGTxxx
This week Let’s Get Tropical is going to start smooth, and finish strong.

Starting in smoothly, our first composition is a Tango from Intended Immigration; laced with house vibes, and silky soft.  Basically, Your dinner party needs this jam.  You can thank Wooden Hat Records later…

Next is a Champeta number fom the homey K.E.N. (Kinky Electric Noise), that is most definitely a suitable second course.

Have I mentioned that I love Dancehall?  Because check this one out.  It rides the line between smooth and strong so nicely, as it does the line between Zouk and Dancehall.  Thank you, DJ Dac!  Your Tropical Bass is served.

K.  Turn it up to 11 and hold onto something, it’s time for something stronger.  Fourth on deck is an emerging genre called Jungle Terror, that will wake up your babies, and rock that cradle right out of its tree top.  Perrigon killed it!

2 smooth, 1 transition, 2 strong songs to finish.  Sound fair?  Shout out to all the Caballeros out there!
