This past Tuesday we stopped by Bananas, a really cool underground hip-hop party in Leimert Park curated by our homie VERBS. The first Bananas of 2017 featured one of my good friends Josh Lockhart. Josh has been creating music for as long as I’ve known him. I remember him having rap battles with some friends at our middle school and even making beats by banging on the lunch table. It has been a pleasure seeing him grow as an artist throughout the years and its quite impressive. Josh Lockhart introduced his new performance which featured a 5 piece Jazz band that was very soulful and well put together.
