Club Heat 0013: Gangsigns, Bass Blowers, DJ Taj, Hotrod, DJ Tray, DJ Diamond Kuts

Jersey Club continues to roll strong throughout the US and the world. Hot Rod (Cartel Music), Bass Blowers, DJ Taj (New Jersey), and Gangsigns (Portland) are definitely names that are changing the game. Although most artists are credited for their original work, you can’t deny that the following Jersey Club remixes aren’t fire as fuck. Hotrod’s remix of Drake  is over a year old, yet, I’ve never heard a dj play it anywhere in L.A. DJ Taj has a series of remixes, but his 21 Savage remix (with DJ Diamond Kuts) is chopped to perfection. I enjoyed Gangsigns’ remix of Hudson Mohawk’s ‘Very First Breath’ (it released a month ago). A track titled “444 + 222” by DJ Tray (Cartel Music) and Hotrod was leaked some time last year. Until now, no one knows the official title, nor release  date, or any info on this track. Some rumors had it that DJ Sliink was involved. Either way, you can stream all the tracks below. Let us know what you think.

The Kickback feat. CERTIFIED: R3LL, Stay Happy, Jakkz, IQ, ARSNL Hosted by Silva (Photo Recap)

Last Thursday, January 25 2018 ARNTRE & Certified took over the Kickback, a show on WAV radio app in Los Angeles for an awesome night of club music. The event was live streamed via their app and featured some of the best that club music has to offer. On the decks was R3LL, Stay Happy (Swizzy Mack, Akira Akira, Hikeii), Jakkz, IQ & ARSNL.

There was a live stream DJ session, interviews, snacks, family, friends and more. This was the first time that Arntre has worked with Silva on the Kickback, and we can’t wait for more episodes to come. Below is some of the footage from the evening. Special shout out to Silva, thank you for hosting an incredible evening with us. Look out for the playback on the WAV App.

Club Heat 0012: R3LL, Ace Mula, Jakkz, Casement (UK), Team Lil Man

2017 was a great year for club music, it seems to only get better with some of the heat that released in the past few days. We most recently discovered new bass, club driven talent from the UK- Casement. Jersey natives R3LL, Ace Mula, and Jakkz have been releasing game changers. R3LL most recently released his EP “A Jerz Love Story” on DIM MAK. Ace Mula has been on a roll with heavy jersey club mixes. Jakkz starts 2018 strong with his N.E.R.D Remix (140bpm). We stumbled across a video of Team Lil Man dancing to an unknown track ID. We suspect it’s from DJ Sliink’s Cartel Music group. If you find out, please send the ID too 2018 will be the year of club music world wide.

R3LL EP: A Jerz Love Story

Out today, Certified resident & Original Brick Bandits member R3LL, releases his new EP with Dim Mak records. “A Jerz Love Story,” is a strong progression both musicially & lyrically for not only R3LL, but the entire Jersey Club culture. R3LL collaborated with several unique and talented artists on this EP including Uniiqu3, TT the Artist, Chris Jane, Pure 100%, Bleszt & Bell Rock.

As one of the pioneers, R3LL has been the main driver of Jersey Club sound coming from the West Coast since moving out west from Newark, New Jersey. In 2016, we partnered with R3LL & started Certified, a monthly club music event hosted at the Lash in downtown LA. Through Certified, R3LL & Arntre have created a platform in Los Angeles to drive the club music scene forward. Notably last year, R3LL also had the opportunity to play at Tomorrwland in Belgium & went on tour in Japan.

R3LL has been making moves for the last couple years pioneering a sound and sharing it with the world. The stars are the limit for this young producer & DJ. It will be exciting  to see what comes next for R3LL.

Download/Stream “A Jerz Love Story” by R3LL

“With this EP, I wanted to take my fans deeper into the real world of Jersey Club; collaborating with artists from back home who are pushing the sound to new levels.  Musically, this is the first time I’ve worked with rappers to really develop the lyricism and build out proper songs; Jersey Club doesn’t always have to be about choppy vocals!  I named the project “A Jerz Love Story”, because this is my love letter to Jersey Club; the sound that has taken me all over the world, and united people from all walks of life on the dance floor.” – R3LL

The Cut: More Meat, Less Fat

The Cut: More meat, Less Fat
The Cut: More meat, Less Fat

There are many tracks out there that are hidden by the fat of less delicious tracks. As a part-time butcher of music discovery(and meat in real life), I will cut out the fat and show you the freshest cuts of meat (tracks) in this new segment we call “The Cut”. We will feature all kinds of cuts ranging from Bass, House, and downtempo vibes.

The first track on our list is a remix by Calvin Harris and features a Deep House element that makes this cut a funky and bouncy track. The deep bassline really guides the track along and makes for an awesome House track.

This next track is a release on Medium Rare Recordings (kinda fitting for this article) and the track is just filthy and heavy. Its on some dark house vibes with heavy bass synths and intricate percussions all mixed in.

Another aggressive song with house elements and electro vibes.

Yookie really killing it with the music and this latest track is like something from a horror movie. Really nostalgic bass sounds similar to the dubstep duo 16BIT from back in the golden dubstep days.

Ok, so mostly everything is bass driven in this article, but thats fine because this Future Bass track gives you some next level bass waves and synths that compliment this remix of Post Malones I fall Apart
