Smalltown DJs are Canada’s reigning champions of fun, bass-heavy house, melding the energy of outdoor festivals like Shambala with the diverse sound they cultivated at their legendary Hifi Club in Calgary. They teamed up with Dances With White Girls, the infamous LA-via-Philly producer and vocalist crafting absurdist anthems with everyone from Chris Lake to Pitbull (while dropping knowledge hourly as your favorite artist’s favorite Tweeter).

These two forces together for the first time to bring us a smashing new EP on Fools Gold Records. Starting with “What’s Your Poison,” a quirky and crazed slice of dance music that could only exist on Fools Gold Records, brings a funky deep bass line that will make you wanna dance whether you’re in the forest or the club. The other track, “Bad Behavior,” features Canadian dj/producer duo SkiiTour, who have been emerging in the Canadian electronic music scene over the last several years. You can definitely get a sense of all 3 groups and how they influenced each track.
